Street Fashion In The Eyes A Designer

Street fashion is a fashion style that has emerged not from studios or fashion shows, but from the streets. This kind of style is usually associated with your culture. A sample of street fashion is the hippy style, which came out in the United States during the mid-1960s. This style uses a psychedelic pattern, like bright color and flowery prints. In Asia, there is the Harajuku style from Japan, which got its name from the place this style was initiated.
In Indoneisa, we dont have a special concept of street fashion. That's why we don't have Jakarta, Bandung, or any other style here. What people wear on the streets in Indonesia is quite varied. we can see people wearing different styles : bohemian, retro, ethnic and others.
Everybody has his/her own style. if you want your style to catch other people's attention or be worn by them, wear something unique, artistic, yet comfortable. you can choose to wear bohemian, retro, hip-hop, or ethnic style, like batik and personalize it with your trade mark. Common attire, like jeans and shirt, will never be the center of attention.

Tips on the street fashion :
1. Wear outfits that are comfortable and can boost your confidence.
2. Wear something that makes you different from others.
3. Pay attention to your age, place and time.
4. In a tropical country like Indonesia, choose a fabric that can absorb your sweat, especially if you choose a layered style.
